About Judah Group
Judah Group is a full-service environmental, emergency and disaster response firm co-founded by Timothy Lee Thompson and Robert Sunleaf. Mr. Thompson previously founded Code 3 Environmental Services before merging with Boots & Coots Special Services where he was the President and CEO. Boots & Coots was then acquired by Haliburton in 2010 and Mr. Thompson went on to be the Global Chief Environmental Consultant for Pepsi Co. Robert Sunleaf has held various finance and operational leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Thompson brings 30 years of diverse environmental, emergency and disaster response experience to Judah Group.
That experience gives Judah Group the ability to offer both public and private sector client’s effective solutions to challenging environmental problems. Specifically, Judah Group provides its clients with safe, timely and cost-effective hazardous materials and oil spill emergency response, site remediation, remedial design, environmental consulting, and engineering. Mr. Thompson brings over 30 years of experience responding to, leading, consulting and mitigating man-made and natural emergencies and disasters around the world. As CEO, Mr. Thompson leverages his expertise to lead Judah Group with best in class solutions for all aspects of emergency and disaster readiness, response and recovery.
Career Highlights
- Consulted governmental agencies with regard to hazardous material transportation for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
- Served as Incident Commander of hundreds of incidents around the globe including chemical releases and fires, oil spills, biological, and natural disasters
- Led response for US State Department in response to providing aid and direction and control support for the 1997 earthquakes in Izmit, Turkey
- Formulated safe inspection procedures of hazardous and dangerous cargo for the United State Customs Agency for their drug interdiction program along the US/Mexico border
